Everlasting Sleep

Description

5/100 Dreams

Sometimes I wonder what it feels like to be a ghost. Watching over. Always.
It really scares me to know that someone can just die in their sleep. And if that happened I would never get to say goodbye.

Oh I had so much fun doing this one. c: Besides the whole taking down half my posters and moving a small shelf...

I will have to say that this is an interesting piece indeed. I like the story that u had put along to it as i just wrote a poem based on the same concept of dying in sleep. The only drawbacks for me on this pic were the originality, for this is pretty common to see on tv (but not really in photos), and impact. Both i gave good solid scores because while its seen much on TV and movies, souls rising from their own bodies are less seen in this medium. The impact was decent due in part to use of black white. Black and white is as cold cut and dry as is the idea of being alive and not being alive. Either ur one or the other. The impact was also heightened a bit because the soul appears to be more alive than the body which is of course poetic in its own respect.

In my opinion the strong parts of this piece are the vision and the technique. Having the balls to execute this picture which, as i have said, are typical only of TV/Movie medium shows a vision that extends pass the norm. And of course the Technique. I dont know how u took the shot, but i do know that whatever it was u did worked perfectly for what u were going for and meshes perfectly with the mood of the pic.
